| Sandie is married and has two children and three grand children. She and her family chose to make Marietta their home in 1976 and she, her husband and son have continued to live here since that time. Her married daughter, Dunnaine, currently lives with her family in York County, but owns and operates "The Attic", a consignment shop located on South Clay Street, Marietta. |
| Along with holding a full time position with Farmers First Bank, Sandie assists with her daughter's shop in Marietta. Currently, Sandie is enrolled at Reading Area Community College where she has one more semester to complete her requirements for a degree in banking. Additionally, Sandie and her husband own rental properties in Marietta. Along with membership in the American Institute of Banking, Sandie is a member of the Marietta Business Association and the Lancaster Historic Association. |
| Sandie does volunteer work for the American Cancer Society and the Leukemia Association. For years she has helped with and participated in the children's events sponsored by the Marietta Beneficial Association. |
| Sandie finds Marietta an attractive place to live and believes in the town's potential to grow and develop while maintaining its small town ambiance. In recent years, she has become active politically, stemming from her dedication to the town and her belief that our town needs to be run economically and intelligently for the benefit of all. Her initial efforts to work for Marietta's best interests led her to stand for and win election as Republican Committeewoman for Marietta's 1st District. |

As a councilperson, Sandie will be able to bring her financial training, her business experience, and her dedication to fair and equitable government to the service of all citizens of Marietta. |
